OUR ETHICS AND PHILOSPHY
We believe that only dogs that meet or exceed the Breed Clubs standard
as adopted by the American Kennel Club should be bred, and we strictly
adhere to this rule in our breeding program.
With each Litter we strive to produce progressively more sound pups that
meet the breed clubs standards.
The Practice that is being adopted more and more of mixing breeds is an
unexceptable practice to us. We believe that this is a practice that could
permanently do harm to our breeds, and should never be done.
The myth that crossing breeds produces a healthier pet is obsurd, each
breed has problems inherent to itself. Crossing 2 breeds could very well
produce puppies that inherit all the problems of both breeds, as well as
there is no guarantee of the temperment of such crosses.
We strongly believe in keeping PURE in Purebred.
Now they call the crosses designer dogs and demand large prices. When in
our hearts we all know that these dogs are Mutts and should be priced as
such.
No reputable breeder who loves their dogs would ever do such damage to
the breeds that crossing does.
It is our opinion that the only reputable registering organization in the
United States is the American Kennel Club.
We do not and have never shipped a puppy, We are uncomfortable with this
practice.
We do not fault other breeders that do ship as long as the pups are a minimum
of 6 months old and are not timid pups.
We do not sell young puppies. Puppies never leave us before 12 wks and
most of the time they are 5 to 8 months old. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO DO
OTHERWISE.
All pups are sold with a contract and will not be sold as breeding dogs.
We do not believe that dogs should be bred as income for the breeder, if
breeding is done correctly there is little to no profit in breeding quality
dogs. We feel that breeders who are breeding for money do not have the
best interests of the breeds in mind.
We believe that people who sell their dogs commercially ie: pet stores,
flea markets, brokers etc. are selling solely for profit and do not have
the best interests of the dogs and puppies in mind. they care more about
large volumes of puppies for profit only.
